Maintenance Window

Work will take place between 01:00 and 06:00 Monday morning. During this time there will be 1-2 breaks of up to 30 minutes while work is carried out.

Planned Work

To get about the place there are multiple network feeds. One of the network transit feeds is being upgraded. Network traffic will shift over to another feed, the maintenance work performed, then the network feed will be restored. It is kinda like reducing a lane for roadworks to be carried out. As with any roadworks, things will slow down while the work takes place. Plus there are breaks as network services are moved around.

We are keeping watch throughout and will post an update here as the work proceeds.

Work Outcome - Complete

The work was performed without incident. Signoff came through at 0546 and we carried out checks and a look-over the network as well. All good. routine monitoring throughout the day has been fine also.
