We have long had a platform for sending Text Messages. It has mainly been for staff use. Recently we upgraded the platform, and plan to do more more by way of SMS/TXT.  It is solely a TXT platform, so ringing goes nowhere. You can text into it as well. Inbound TXTs are queued and seen by staff for actioning. TXTs to us are 160 characters max. Anything more gets lost.
